Basic Photoshop.

Here is something we did in our I.T lesson today. basically we used just some of the basic skills you need to know in photoshop and used them to make an advert for converse.



Then using some more basic skills we implemented the poster into a billboard at an airport.

Mobile Calender.

Whilst not doing college work I thought i'd use a online tutorial and design something with help from the tutorial. The tutorial I found was to make a calender for an Iphone. What i've learned from doing this is that the slightest amount in one blending option added with some other blending modes can make a big difference in the final out come.

Another reason for doing this design is so that I can use my magic mouse that I got earlier in the week.

University Work.

When applying for universities one of them ask me to design something for them using different shapes they sent. I choose the heart.

Once we had chosen our shape we then had to come up with 4 designs using that shape. My first design was a bee (top left) when coming up with this idea I wanted something vector based and something you wouldn't normally associate with a heart shape but still using the heart. For my second design (top right) I was looking towards what I love so coming up with the things i love wasn't to hard, Scouts and music. When then applying these things into a design I used different textures in the designs so that it wasn't just a plain boring heart shape with the scout logo in it or a music symbol in it. My third design (bottom left) I was thinking of what a heart is and what most people think of the meaning of a heart. The answer I came up with was love. So I found a creative way of showing that and when researching into it I found that a lot of images were very simple and thats what i tried to do in this design. My last design (bottom right) was along the same sort of theme as my third design (bottom left) which was love and i was thinking more into love and that if it doesn't work out i can sometimes get a little messy with divorces and arguments and so on. So again I thought using different brushes with paint splatters and paint dripping would be the right way of getting the message across because paint is also a messy job.

These designs did get me an interview at the university but I was sadly not accepted after that.

The words of music are not my own but a friend who I have in sweden, they posted a drawn version of this so I kindly ask if I could edit it so I did and this was the out come. What I did was tidy up the text itself added a slight gradient from darkish red to a slightly lighter red. I then added an overlay of the inside of a CD player that I had to give the text a little more texture.

Specktators.

This work comes from a group project we did at college where we had to come up with our own company and do all of the branding and selling of our product.

So our product was a pair of glasses that you wear and you can watch movies and T.V shows on but the thing that made our product different to any other was that you could change the opacity on the glasses so that when your walking down the street or something you turn the opacity down so you don't
walk into things.

My group that i was in then decided that we would make them for so sporting events. So when your watching say the football the specks show up all the stats of all the players and of the match your watching.

Bad Boy.

This is my range of T-shirts that I designed for 'BadBoy' The top set of T-shirts is for the 30 years that 'Badboy' has been running as a company. Then the bottom set of T-shirts is just a range of T-shirts I designed for them as well .

Along with the T-shirts I want to keep the joggers to a simple design with it not being to complicated or confusing to the eye.

when coming up with this idea for the hoodie I looked mainly towards the big pocket on the front because on any other hoodie you seen the design or patter on the chest but never much on the pocket I thought i'd make the hoodie different from other hoodies and put the design mainly on the pocket. keeping with the theme of being different I thought instead of putting the logo across the chest like you see with other hoodies I thought lets put it down the sleeve and keep with the theme of being different.

Here is something that I did in our I.T class based upon the project we were doing at the time. In the I.T class we were taught how to use different brushes to come up with this outcome. The reason for using the fighters in this piece was because of the project we were we had to design some T-shirts and other garments of clothing for 'BadBoy' which is mainly involved in UFC. Images of that project to follow.

Irn Bru Sat Nav.

The second design I did for the Irn Bru christmas card was a sat nav idea. The idea behind this was that santa on his way to delivering presents and he got diverted on his route to the Irn Bru factory. Hence why the sat nav is saying 'divert back to route'.

Irn Bru Can.

Before christmas 2011 our college project for college was to design a christmas card for Irn Bru. Here is one of my ideas for a Irn Bru christmas card. The idea was that Irn Bru had taken over the christmas ad that Coca Cola usual do each year by making them go bust. Hence the Irn Bru can in a Coca Cola costume (to the right).

Fysical.

I did this in 2010 in which I had to come up with my own extreme sports company. I had to design my own logo for a extreme sports company along with putting it on different products such as T-shirts and other items used in extreme sports, helmets and that sort of stuff.

Hello, this is my new blog in which I will keep up to date will all of the work i've done. I'm currently study graphic design at college and will be looking to doing it university to gain the right experience and skills required in the creative industry.
